YouTube announced at VidCon that it is currently resting out an AI-powered dubbing service tool named Aloud. It was developed at Google's Area 120 incubator and it allows creators to dub videos in other spoken languages. The Aloud tool helps cut down time and dub without relying on human translators and narrators to help creators reach a broader audience throughout the cloud.
Aloud ensures that it can produce a "quality dub in just a few minutes" with the help of AI. The tool starts off by creating a text-based translation that creators can go in to check and edit accordingly. After this, it generates a dub and users can select from different narrators, how to publish, and other features.
