Leon Lakowski is an industrial designer based in Berlin and his latest piece is the unique ALL IN lamp designed to highlight the current mass production systems. He aims to encourage a rethinking of the global commodification with the aid of the innovative capabilities of additive manufacturing processes. The ALL IN is the first-ever 3D-printed task light and it can function globally to assist in transport routes through domestic production.
The lamp is produced without any tools excluding the heatsink and electronic parts -- it is made in one location, in one structure, and from one material. It is finished with a sintered polyamide powder for self-lubricating and abrasion resistant sensibilities for sturdiness. ALL IN can also be folded into itself for storage or easy transportation in addition to its lightweight factor as it weighs under 400g.
