Tiredness-Tracking Headbands

Impecca's Driver-Targeted Alert Band Will Be on Display at CES 2015

In an effort to reduce the number of vehicular collisions caused by tiredness, Impecca is introducing the Alert Band at CES 2015. The wearable technology consists of a headband designed to detect fatigue in drivers and acts as a early warning system to save lives.

The Bluetooth device monitors brainwaves and sends notifications in real-time to a mobile device. Accurate 90% of the time, the Alert Band tells drivers they are going to fall asleep 3 to 5 minutes before they actually do. Whether you are a truck driver, have a sleep disorder or are taking a long road-trip, this device could significantly reduce the likelihood you have an accident.

Impecca will be displaying the device at CES booth #30932 from January 6th to 9th.
