Crazy Crocheted Masks

Aldo Lanzini Designs 'The Condition of the Contemporary Man'

Aldo Lanzini's spell-blindingly color masks are absolutely stunning. So stunning, in fact, that they even made an appearance at the Missoni Spring 2011 runway show (the ushers donned them to create quite the seating stir).

Currently exhibiting them at the Milan's Le Case D'Arte, Aldo Lanzini typically splits his time between the Italian fashion capital and New York. According to the artist himself, his pieces represent "the condition of contemporary man, some kind of conscious schizophrenia."
