The ALDI Back-to-School Fund is a new initiative being run by the retailer in the UK that's targeted towards supporting parents this fall as their kids head back to class. The initiative will see the brand giving away £100 ALDI vouchers to parents throughout September as a way to support the 73% of parents who have worries about covering costs related to starting the school year, according to research. The grocer will also be donating £20,000 to schools and nurseries as a way to further give back as we commence the school year.
National Sustainability Director Liz Fox commented on the ALDI Back-to-School Fund saying, "As the UK’s lowest-priced supermarket, we’re committed to doing whatever we can to support parents in making their money go further and that’s why we’re giving parents an extra helping hand via our Back-to-School Fund this September. We’re giving our customers the chance to apply for vouchers to help parents cover the cost of packed lunches and other essentials they’ll need to stock up on throughout the school year."
