The 'LX2' Uses AI Tools to Shift Gears & Optimize Pedaling Output

Smalo E-Bikes, an electric mobility company that happens to fall under the umbrella of respected Taiwanese company BESV, has launched a brand new urban e-bike that is designed to be able to not only navigate simple and flat terrain but also zip up and down hills and slopes.

The 'LX2' is an urban e-bike that is fitted with a 250-watt motor that works in concert with a torque-sensing mechanism in order to be able to provide pedal assistance of up to 32 km/h. What's more, this particular two-wheeler also happens to leverage artificial intelligence mechanisms that, over time, learn riders' pedalling patterns and power in order to take advantage of predictive range-setting and automatic gear changes.

This technology can also be conveyed via wireless Bluetooth in order to further optimize the rider experience, with users able to utilize the app to do everything from keep tabs on their bike's location to alter smart lock access.
