Google's AI Grammar Checker Claims to Be Incredibly Accurate

Google Docs has become a premier text-writing tool but the service is finally getting a comprehensive AI grammar checker. Like most grammar checker services or programs, this new Google-created one is capable of identifying mixed-up words, incorrect tenses, improper use of punctuation and much more. To accomplish this, the AI grammar checker relies on machine translation. This is the same technology used in Google Translate, except instead of translating sentences from two different languages, it translates a sentence into a grammatically correct passage.

The AI grammar checker is not currently available to all users but can be tested through Google's Early Adopter Program. Google is fairly confident in the accuracy of its new grammar checker and claims it can catch anything from wrongly used articles to more complicated issues like fixing incorrectly used subordinate clauses.
