Lectro is an affordable electric bike that does not look like it is more inexpensive than most e-bikes on the market.
In an attempt to come to a solution to the common conception that electric bikes are both unattractive and expensive, creator Jeff Morin designed this affordable electric bike. Unlike most other e-bikes on the market, the Lectro will be under $1,000. The bike will have a 750W motor that assists the rider and can also go 20 miles an hour if only the motor is used. With a headlight, six gears and a removable battery that lasts 20 miles -- this bike focuses on both convenience and function. The bike also features an LCD screen that shows speed and distance information as well as battery life.
The mix of typical features that are seen on most e-bikes with affordability kept in mind makes this bike is much more accessible than most.
