Canadian retailer Addition Elle is no stranger to offering body-diverse clothing. It only made sense for plus-sized fashion advocate and model Ashley Graham and the brand to collaborate on a new collection. The elegant lingerie line debuted on the runways of New York Fashion Week.
Graham and Addition Elle are challenging the conventions of fashion, and also encouraging different meanings of beauty. For Graham, sexiness isn't determined by body size, but by fit and support. If something fits well on whatever body type, Graham believes that best defines sexiness. Graham unveiled her 'Black Orchid Collection' along with other models, featuring lingerie and nightwear.
More than the fashion itself, Graham wanted to promote confidence and throughout the show asked attendees to hashtag #IAmSizeSexy, which other women outside the show have use when posting body-positive pictures of themselves.
