Converse Japan introduced its new Addict collection of sneakers with a construction for maximum utility. The footwear capsule is comprised of both high- and low-cut iterations in preparation for spring. The pieces are reworked versions of classic Converse silhouettes, reconstructed with functional fabric materials and foundations. Converse Japan updated the signature Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers with GORE-TEX to deliver water-resisting functions. Additionally, Vibram tooling systems are also incorporated in order to deliver high functioning grip and traction.
The Addict collection is exclusive to Japan only and is available in a range of colorways including blue, green, black, white and peach. The new range of high-performance sneakers will be launching on two separate dates -- the multi-color and white colorways dropped April 10th, and the black colorway in the low-cut version will be launching May 10th.
