Photographer Thomas Albdorf takes a look at the precarious nature of items as he assembles them to pose in strangely surreal balancing acts for his series entitled 'Actualities.'
Taking found objects, the photographer doesn't alter them so much as he puts them into bizarrely bemusing positions whereby they balance and lean against each other in strange contortions. Traffic cones holding each other up in pyramid formation like a cheerleader squad and retro stereo systems dangerously stacked on top of each other serve to visually demonstrate the strange reliance we have on the objects we surround ourselves with.
Working with quirky items such as lost shoes and crystalline shards of glass, Thomas Albdorf captures fleetingly precarious moments with 'Actualities.'
