Acne Studios' footwear range for Spring/Summer 2018 was recently unveiled. The Swedish label's new collection is comprised of a series of classic footwear silhouettes from the label, but reworked with small new details and made in a series of colorways. The sneakers in the capsule feature chunky shapes such as Acne Studios' Rockaways, Manhattans and Sofiane silhouettes -- available in monochromatic and denim colorways.
The Tristan and Batilda silhouettes are the label's sock sneakers and the seasonal reworkings deliver a new "Workwear Blue" colorway and a "Lilac/White" colorway. The Jimmy and Joriko shoes take a vintage approach, as they are coated in new patterns, including a floral print. Finally, the Steffey and Perey shoes are Velcro silhouettes in new colors such as "Bright Orange" and "Dusty Pink." To debut the new seasonal capsule, Acne Studios turned to Tage Johansson, the son of Jonny Johansson, the label's creative director.
