Baby-Inspired Clay Furniture

This Abstract Furniture Collection is Voluptuous and Creamy

This abstract furniture collection by Faye Toogood may take some getting used to at first, but once you do, you'll fall in love. Known for her unique style, the British designer recently unveiled her latest collection at Milan Design Week 2014.

Keeping in touch with her tried-and-tested geometric style and once again using natural elements, Toogood chose to change things up in this abstract furniture collection by relaxing her popular angular look. This collection features more round pieces inspired by the designers experiences of pregnancy and motherhood.

"I've got fat," says Toogood. "Gone are the angles, hard lines and dark color schemes of previous collections in favor of voluptuousness and creaminess."

The 'Roly-Poly' collection includes a four-legged chair, a dining chair and table, a sculptural daybed and a table made out of clay maquette and fiberglass.
