Tongue-in-Cheek QSR Campaigns

Burger King UK Recently Launched 'A Whopper of a Secret' Campaign

With 2019 almost behind us, Burger King UK launched the 'A Whopper of a Secret' campaign that playfully takes a poke at one of its quick-serve rivals.

During the commercial, Burger King explains that the brand was keeping a secret all of 2019 to prove the brand had a bigger burger than its rival. Each ad for its iconic Whopper Burger actually had a hidden rival's burger behind it that was hidden by Burger King's "superior" burger. The video then shows various ads where once the Whopper Burger is taken away, another burger is visible behind it, previously eclipsed from sight.

Burger King is known for its hilarious, tongue-in-cheek campaigns that showcase it's unique value proposition while playfully poking fun at its rivals and we can expect more surprises from the quick-serve restaurant in 2020.
