Indian design firm Studio MOB has completed A House in the Farm, which is a contemporary space that is comprised of concrete blocks intersecting one another along with sheltered areas that are meant to form indoor and outdoor blended spaces. The home is located in Coimbatore and was created to blend between urban and garm spaces as it sits on both sides of the geometric structure.
The co-founder of the studio, Siddahaarth Gowthaman speaks to Dezeen about the design, sharing "This home seamlessly intertwines private sanctuaries within an expansive, interconnected layout, merging indoor comforts with outdoor tranquility. The brickwork on the facade was thoughtfully incorporated to bring in an earthy feel and texture due to the red soil found in the coconut farm surrounding the building and also representing the colonial past of the city."
