According to the Fish and Wildlife Service, there are now close to 500,000 women that like to go fly fishing, let alone fish in general. That means when numbers start getting that large, changes are coming to the fishing fashion waters.
While there is a lot of regular summer fashion that lends itself easily to fishing, when it comes to fly fishing, the ladies are similar to their male counterparts: they want their gear to be practical while looking good. Well, at least the guys want it practical.
