The STAC Zero Trainer Minimizes Noise and Wheel Corroding

There's a common problem with most bike trainers -- they require the users to place the contraption's back tire in such a way that it's in constant contact with a rolling mechanism. The issue is that this mechanism causes the tire to wear down over time, and also makes the trainer noisy.

This is where the STAC Zero trainer comes in. Developed by Canada-based company STAC Performance, this particular bike trainer uses special current-based designs that make use of a magnet and conductor to keep the bike trainer's wheels under control at all times without all the annoying noise and wearing down.

This bike trainer is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign. A pledge of $349 will get you a basic unit, a small price to pay for an improved training experience.
