David Drobik is Rewarding Fans for Completing a 500-Piece QR Code Puzzle

David Dobrik has made a name for himself for his outlandish lifestyle and generous gifts to friends and fans. In December of 2020, the former Viner turned YouTube star released his latest venture, titled 'The Hundred Thousand Dollar Puzzle,' giving his fans a chance to receive up to $100,000. Fans can enter their completed puzzles by scanning the QR codes they create, which may lead them to the jackpot.

This form of reward gamification is nothing new with Drobik's fan base, as he has been giving away Teslas to them for a while now, and ahead of the election, he got more than 80,000 people to register to vote by partnering with a voter action nonprofit called Headcount—where he also gave away more of the electric cars.

With each puzzle costing the consumer $30 to buy and the chance of winnings ranging from 25 cents up to $100,000, he has really found a niche area where his fans are willing to pay up small amounts of money and time for the chance to win big.

In the first hour upon release, Drobik sold 17,000 puzzles, and has since sold close to 50,000.
