As part of publicity stunt to celebrate Air France’s 80th anniversary and to promote their exceptionally low fares for the month of January, Air France has decided to depart from traditional advertising schemes and create their own sky signal shot against the London sky. Gaining approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the air transportation company had the opportunity to advertise on clouds.
The projected signal can be seen looming over some of London’s most iconic landmarks and locations such as the London Eye and hovering over Waterloo station. Other locations will possibly take place in some of Air France’s hubs such as Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester.
According to the account manager Karla Bonello at Curb, "Depending on how high the clouds are, the projections can look really beautiful and so far we have been successful. The activation is fun and Air France wanted to do something a bit different."
