'63 Objects Taken From My Son’s Mouth' by Lenka Clayton is a picture book that documents everything her son has tried to eat as an eight-to-fifteen month old.
The reason they tell you to think long and hard before having children is because you're going to have to spend the next 18 years of your life keeping them alive. This includes several years of pulling random objects out of their mouth so that they don't choke to death. Seriously, isn't it so strange that children balk at the sight of broccoli, but have no problem eating an entire sculpture made of LEGO? The same goes for marbles, crayons and cigarette butts.
The project has special significance to Clayton, who explains, "The collection indirectly documents those months of our lives."
