Air-Freshening Carpet Bots

The 3F Vacuum Shoots Fresh Scents and Can be Controlled via Smartphone

The 3F Vacuum is a robotic house cleaner that also helps to keep things smelling clean. This future-forward vacuum was designed by Germain Verbrackell for Electrolux. It can operate like a Roomba or a stand-up vacuum. The 3F can also freshen the air in a room and can be loaded with different scent packs.

The 3F Vacuum has an amorphous shape that changes to suit the environment. When it needs to cover more ground, it becomes squat and increases its width. Should you need to slide it around corners and edges, then the 3F will grow taller and skinnier. Verbrackell's design can be controlled via smartphone, allowing you to literally clean your while only having to lift one finger. The 3F Vacuum is of course just a concept, but its features, particularly the scent packs and smartphone compatibility, could find their way into future vacuum designs.
