MonoCircus is a smartphone accessory brand that puts together 3D case designs and its latest piece entitled Manta takes inspiration from the ocean and aquatic life. The cases have a curved aesthetic to them coupled with a modern design that only covers a portion of the phone. The designs are an amalgamation of both protective material and visual artistry.
The cases are the work of Kazunori Takeishi and Lim Shing Ee that creatively translate the look of the skeletal remains of fish and sea life into an intricate and modular case. The accessory is designed to look like the spin or bones of a fish with a series of thinly spaced white lines that curve in the shape of the sea creature's body.
