Swiss watch and jewelry brand Chopard is celebrating this year's Mille Miglia -- a famous open road car race that exclusively features vintage cars -- with the launch of its '2022 Race Edition' timepiece. Chopard will offer two versions of the 2022 Race Edition timepiece.
The first is a 1,000-piece stainless steel iteration while the second is a 250-piece rose gold and steel version. Aside from their different finishes and piece-counts, the two watches are nearly identical. For example, both models come with a 44mm case, a satin-brushed dial in grey, subtle blue hands, hour markers, and an extra-slim bezel. What's more, both watches come with a calfskin leather strap that features a unique rubber lining -- two design choices that intend to mimic the tire tread found on the 1960 Dunlop, an iconic vintage sportscar.
