For the 2013 Life Ball that will take place in Vienna on May 25, Roberto Cavalli has collaborated with MINI to recreate a fashionable car.
Life Ball is one of the most major-scaled AIDS charity events that hosts thousands of people. The event auctions off a re-invented MINI car each year to give to the charity. Roberto Cavalli is this year's designer and will be radiating his fierce fashion sense onto this year's art canvas, the MINI Paceman.
The idea of fashion collaborating with the auto industry is exciting. Last year's MINI Roadster was designed by Franca Sozzani, the chief editor of Italian VOGUE, and was a gorgeous purple with spring-inspired floral patterns surrounding the top.
Roberto Cavalli's design could not come any sooner to sooth the anticipating crowd, which I am a part of.
