Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has announced that it will be relaunching the iconic 1969 Dax ST125 mini-motorcycle in Europe. The revived bike will be added to the brand's miniMOTOs lineup, which houses some of Honda's most cult-favorite bikes such as the Cub, Monkey, and Grom.
The 2023 Dax bike features a T-shaped steel frame chassis, extra-tall handlebars, a leather seat, 12-inch five-spoke wheels, 31mm forks, and raised muffler design. In addition, the new bike is powered by a 124cc air-cooled SOHC two-valve engine, which has been lifted from Honda's Super Cub mini model. As a result, the 2023 Dax is able to reach speeds of 55mph with an output of just 9.3hp.
Other notable features include LED head and taillights, twin rear shocks, chrome fenders, a four-speed gearbox, and an extra-small fuel tank that can run approximately 150 miles.
