The 1 Object in 1 Minute project is a challenge set by French industrial designer Pierre Lota in which he endeavors to make an object in one minute. Each of his undertakings has been recorded on video as proof of his quickness. This fast furniture, so to speak, could easily become fun do-it-yourself projects for viewers as well. Rather simple, the designs use objects that can be found around the household.
For instance, one of the furniture pieces created in the 1 Object in 1 Minute project is the hanger table. Lota used four wooden clothes hangers as well as a square slab of wood for the table top to construct it. For other creations he has used spoons and even newspaper. Each and every object is creatively fun and contemporary.
