Im Jessica , i am currently a fashion managment student at George Brown College with a love and focus on journalism and styling. I love to travel and explore new fashions and cultures . I have currently travelled through 9 countries including Europe and Asia drawing inspiration from all my trips.

Im origionally from Hamilton and have lived in Toronto for a year now. I love the city and hope to gain valuable experience with Trend Hunter and the big city!!!

Me= Creative, spiritual, positive, hardworking, friendly and stylishhh!!

What's your favorite accomplishment?

My favorite accomplishment would be meeting and interviewing Glen Baxter. I sat down with him in the Fashion Television office as i was writing an article for school with a person who embodies great style. We had a very successful interview and i learned alot about him and the world of Fashion Television leaving me with a wonderful experience and memory.

How do you define cool?

i define cool , as a personal expression of taste. Cool is what you make it, what you can pull off and what your confident in. Cool consitis of being unique and innovative and being comfortable in your own skin.

What is your secret to uncovering trends?

keeping tabs on media, current events , and cutting edge fashion

What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?

Trend Hunter gives you the opportunity to build your own portfolio at the same time gaining great advise and tips from editors of the magazine. Your articles are read by many and your writing skills are constantly improving.

What is your favorite trend?

my favorite current trend would have to be the 80s Party Dresses , available to read on my profile.

What are your tips for writing a juicy post?

get the facts, make sure its and up and coming idea, keep it simple and easy to grasp.

How do you reset to be creative?

I study magazines, and study street style (what the public is wearing daily), also brainstorming using my own closet and lifestyle.

What inspires or excites you?

I am inspired by change. Im open to every and any new idea or style . I love to read and learn about different cultures and styles throughout the world. The way fashion, beauty and culture vary makes for some very interesting trends ideas.
