WhatsApp stickers are now available on the immensely popular messaging platform and hope to change the way users interact with the app. This new feature will roll out in "the coming weeks" with the selection of WhatsApp stickers being provided by the company's in-house design team and some other artists.
While the initial release will feature a limited amount of designs, the app is allowing would-be artists to publish their own packs for the app. These sticker packs can be downloaded from the Google Play or Apple App Store and then used within WhatsApp. The company has even provided a template for WhatsApp stickers that it claims requires “minimal development or coding experience.”
