Raising awareness for endangered pandas, WWF Japan started The Panda Font Project.
As detailed on the World Wide Fund for Nature Japan website, pandas are nearing extinction with a total of 1,600 left in the wild. No stranger to raising panda awareness, WWF Japan has partnered with Ogilvy & Mather Japan to create this creative panda-themed font. With the help of typographers and web designers, this unconventional typeface features each letter in the alphabet accompanied by one or two panda heads. With a fun and adorable appeal, this campaign brings light to the tragedy at hand in a more lighthearted way.
With the slogan "made by pandas for pandas," The Panda Font Project brings the panda plight into our daily lives and calls for changes in animal justice.
