Those of you willing to admit you were an avid reader of the Sweet Valley High series will be happy to know that a new 2011 novel will supply juicy life updates. Writer Francine Pascal turned her story of perfect California twins, Jessica and Elizabeth, into an empire of over 500 books.
Ever since a successful TV show spinoff in the 1990’s aired, fans have been sending in requests wondering what happened between Elizabeth and Todd, and friends Lila and Bruce. The new book will be called Sweet Valley Confidential, and the publisher is promising it to be shocking and satisfying.
This seems all too reminiscent of the Saved By The Bell reunion. In the end, I’m hoping to feel as happy as when Kelly and Zach finally got married.
