The YO! slow cook range is being launched in the UK from the Japanese cuisine brand as a series of items perfect for elevating a number of different recipes. The products come in two varieties including Pulled Chicken Katsu and Pulled Pork Teriyaki, which were developed by The Flava People in collaboration with Pilgrims Europe. The products will make their way to Asda as an exclusive range of items starting in April that can be used to create meals in around 30-minutes.
Brand Strategy Manager at The Flava People Olivia Rooney spoke on the YO! slow cook range saying, "The slow cook category has long been dominated by own label which can struggle to stretch outside of traditional British and American flavours. Our new launch is ready to disrupt the fixture and entice new, younger foodies to slow cook. Launching under a well-known brand gives shoppers the confidence they need to try something a little different for dinner and inject credibility into the category.”
