Rob Sweere Designed a Quiet Space Meant for Conversation
Sarah Dos Santos — November 21, 2013 — Art & Design
This incredibly imaginative space was designed by Dutch artist Rob Sweere. This arc-shaped space was designed for meditation, contemplation and private conversation. It is a place outdoors that promotes healing, thought, bonding and spiritual renewal. When life gets too overwhelming and hectic and you need a place to escape, the Contemplatorium Love Tree is the perfect place to go.
The space offers safety from the outdoor environment; the arc shelters you from the rain and offers a quiet place for you and a friend to speak alone. In the middle of the arc is a small opening at the ceiling where a tree, quietly grows. The idea of having a tree in the middle helps one come back to the simplicity and beauty of nature and it works as a metaphor for change and growth.
Rob Sweere was right on point when he designed the Contemplatorium Love Tree. It’s original, playful and encourages inner peace with the company of a friend and a good conversation.
