With veganism on the rise in the US, the popular UK wine label 'Proudly Vegan' is set to make its stateside debut.
Proudly Vegan is a 100 percent vegan wine collection that launched in the UK back in 2018 under its parent company, Broadland Wineries. The wine is completely free of any of the animal products that are sometimes used in other wines, such as casein, gelatin, and isinglass (a fish product). And it's not just the wine itself that's fully vegan. Even the ink and glue used for the wine bottle's label are vegan-friendly.
With a 600 percent increase in the number of vegans in the US in the last 3 years alone and nearly 40 percent of American's trying to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diet, there is certainly a market for the Proudly Vegan wines.
