Descente has launched two new jackets from its Mizusawa Down series. Both silhouettes emphasize practicality and aesthetic appeal, promising high levels of warmth and protection while prioritizing comfort and versatility.
The Mizusawa Down Jacket 'Aspire' is built for extreme weather conditions. It offers a waterproof rating of 10,000mm, breathability, and windproof capabilities. It also features a detachable sleeve design, ventilation systems to regulate temperature, and an insulated construction that includes draft tubes and inner cuffs to block cold air. The piece boasts innovative fabrics like DERMIZAX® FLEXILE MATTE FOUR-WAY STRETCH, and HEAT NAVI®, which converts light into heat. The Mizusawa Down Jacket 'Carry' adopts a more minimalist approach while maintaining key performance features like waterproofing, breathability, and windproofing. It uses lightweight 30d 4WAY STRETCH MICRO RIPSTOP fabric and has a reduced down volume, making it more compact and packable.
