Designer Justina Blakeney takes the concept of a natural looking portrait to new levels. Based out of Los Angeles, the stylist creates elegant female faces out of leaves and flowers as part of her 'Face the Foliage' project.
Justina Blakeney uses a wide variety of flora to make these fresh faces, the creation of which she considers to be fun and therapeutic. From blades of grass to small berries and brightly hued petals, the faces clearly draw inspiration from the earth.
The multitalented mom blogger encourages other people to participate in the project by making their own botanical beauties and tagging them with the Face the Foliage hashtag across social media channels. Thus far people as far as Antigua, Guatemala and South Africa have joined in.
