JOOOS fitting rooms, located in Hangzhou, China aims to bridge the gap between the online and offline shopping worlds through offering a retail store that combines the convenience of ecommerce, with the immersive experience of physical retail.
The store is comprised of the top 100 brands sold through the online retailer Tmall, and serves as a physical extension, of the online experience. On the exterior of the building and accessible from the street is an interactive display, which enables consumers to browse through the available collection before entering the store, effectively connecting the physical and ecommerce experiences. To make the store even more appealing, each of JOOOS' distinctively designed fitting rooms is complete with a selfie station, a make-up area and a rest area.
The in-store retail experience was designed to be compatible with online retail, complementing the process, instead of competing against it.
