If you're enthusiastic about racing and off-roading, you'll be very interested in the Duality concept car. This unique vehicle would have be capability of dealing with very different conditions, terrains and styles of driving.
Fernando Machado's idea was to invent a two-faced wheel that could be rotated to transform the vehicle to suit the driver's requirements at a given time. With sturdy structures that are modelled on the honeycomb, pairs of tires cover a half of the hub each, featuring separate specialized treads for roads and unpaved ground. An innovative articulated suspension would enable the Duality concept car to convert, rotating the wheels in and out of each mode. The two-person automobile is thus great for achieving speed or traversing rough landscapes.
