Inspired by Cheryl Cole, DimplePlasty is on the Rise in Plastic Surgery

DimplePlasty is a new form of plastic surgery that is on the rise amongst women. The idea behind DimplePlasty is to get dimples by undergoing plastic surgery wherein the surgeon cuts the cheek and sews the inside of the mouth to create the dimpled look. The look, however, doesn't last forever, and can possibly leave permanent scar tissue damage to the cheek.
Surgeons discussing this new DimplePlasty phenomenon say the procedure is "akin to permanent scarring and could turn to designer disasters as the face begins to droop with age." That sounds pretty terrifying to me!
