The Japanese art of paper folding has been twisted by a 37-year-old native New Yorker, Mr. Marc Kirschenbaum who has discovered pornigami. Yes pornigami. It is really difficult to understand how this guy can turn innocent paper squares into erotic figures like a couple performing the missionary position, sucking lips, a penis or even a vagina from a 1 dollar bill.
Mr. Kirschenbaum is an IT consultant, board member of OrigamiUSA, and has found some acceptance of his work in magazines like Playboy and Maxim.
This practice has not been well received by origami purists. I understand them.
