Constantine Zlatev is an artist from the United States who was tired of seeing so much material go to waste. To demonstrate how various products can be combined to create something beautiful, the artist made a gun flute that produces music in an unlikely way.
DesignBoom states that "the mechanics are programmed and controlled through open-source electronics using an Arduino microprocessor and a raspberry pi board." Through these means of technology, the design is able to produce music and show that even scraps of metal can be combined and melded to create something beautiful (even an item like a gun).
Using a gun for a base is also an interesting choice, as it shows how something so dangerous can suddenly be turned into an engaging and thought-provoking piece of art.
