Japanese fashion brand COMME des GARÇONS has customized its own variation of a vintage Burberry trench coat and it is defined by rugged yet premium touches. The new coat is detailed with studded accents at the shoulders, the storm flap, and the arms. The originally British coat also features the logo stitched on the inside.
This approach pushes towards a more punk-centric aesthetic as the modified outerwear blends the notions of the COMME des GARÇONS brand as well. The tartan plaid liner is notable as a great complement to the signature pattern and it continues the slightly anarchist attitude of the brand, as CDG founder Rei Kawakubo slashes holes in the knitted garments in his seasonal lineup.
