Light Art Performance Photography (LAPP), by definition, is a one-shot form of long-time bulb exposure photography coupled with the movement of light. These photos were not put on a computer and tampered with to achieve the stunning results. Images were captured by opening and closing a camera’s shutter quickly. Then, with special tools, they are projected onto a sensor and, voila!
These LAPP shots are both amazing and mesmerizing. The LAPP site says the photography is best viewed with the lights off. After viewing them with and without light, I completely agree.
