Food is often best enjoyed with good company -- as with many things in life. These Baladi Plates have been designed to cater to groups of eager eaters, acting as runners to reach across the length of the kitchen table.
Galia Tammuz used small panels of beautiful oak to carve these lovely salvers into thin rectangular segments with gentle grooves towards their edges. Black anodized aluminum panels were cut to form graspable trays for the boards, and another sheet runs beneath a series of the wooden dishes to keep them all aligned. The setup is ideal for long dining tables and two-sided seating.
The Baladi Plates might not be glass or ceramic, but they can effectively hold all sorts of edibles and culinary arrangements.
