California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has advised all treehuggers that environmentalism needs to be "sexy" before it is adopted by the mainstream. The Governator explained that bodybuilding, like the environmental movement, was once considered fringe. He said that environmentalists can shed their image as "weird fanatics" by taking the lessons from the bodybuilders, weird fanatics in their own right. While not offering any practical tips for the eco-advocates, he did suggest that the message be positive if it is to be heard. I wonder if he liked "An Inconvenient Truth"...
