Lenovo and Qualcomm have been working on a 5G laptop prototype. The laptop is titled Project Limitless and will use Snapdragon 8cx chip technology, which enables the device for 5G. Snapdragon 8cx has an octa-core Kyro 495 CPU in its chips. The 7nm design allows it to be more power effective than previous Snapdragon iterations. On battery tests, the Snapdragon 8cx ran approximately eight hours longer than other models. The Project Limitless prototype runs at 2.8GHz and has 16GN of RAM, this speed allows for faster multitasking.
Lenovo and Qualcomm have not set a release date or price point for the 5G laptop. However, they have stated intentions to release more information in 2020.
