The Deyrolle Louis Vuitton Exhibition is Stuffed With Style
Regan Canie — October 6, 2011 — Luxury
There's no need to shield your eyes from the Deyrolle Louis Vuitton collection recently revealed at the famous Parisian taxidermy store -- there is no sign of weird, stuffing-filled family pets.
The exhibition created by English artist Billie Achilleos debuted 29 critters crafted from the luxe fashion house's iconic logo-ridden clutches, wallets, belts and fixtures. In celebration of Louis Vuitton's 100th anniversary, the exhibit opened as if it were a zany fashion zoo for French onlookers to ogle and appreciate the genuine leather goods.
The glamorous grasshoppers, posh pooches and the rest of the Deyrolle Louis Vuitton taxidermic treasures will be shipped around the world to be viewed by loyal luxury label consumers and animal lovers alike.
